ERP, CRM and Tally integration that stops the retyping.

Orders come in on WhatsApp, someone types them into Excel, then again into Tally, and the stock figure is still wrong. We set up ERP and CRM software, connect it to your website, WhatsApp, payment gateway and GST e-invoicing, and move your data out of spreadsheets, so every order is entered once.

In short

What is ERP and CRM integration?

ERP and CRM integration means connecting the software that runs your accounts, stock and orders (ERP, enterprise resource planning) with the software that tracks customers and sales (CRM, customer relationship management). It also joins both to your website, WhatsApp, payment gateway and GST portals, so data entered once reaches every system without anyone typing it again.

Most MSMEs are still at this stage. Only 12 per cent of MSMEs use ERP software and 13 per cent use a CRM, according to a survey of 2,882 MSMEs by RIS, a Government of India think tank (published 2026). Tally Solutions says it has about 27 lakh customers (PTI, July 2026), so for many businesses the accounts already live in Tally. The work is joining everything else to it, and a free systems review shows you where to start.

Deliverables

The software we set up and extend.

01 Tally Prime Tally Prime set up properly for GST, with custom reports and screens written in TDL (Tally Definition Language), and connected to your other systems through the data links Tally itself provides (XML and ODBC). Your accounts team keeps working the way it knows.
02 Zoho Books, CRM and Inventory Zoho Books, Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory configured for how you sell, with custom fields, workflows and approval rules. Deluge scripts (Zoho's own scripting language) take over where the settings stop, and the three apps are joined to each other and to your store.
03 Odoo and ERPNext Open-source ERP for businesses that have outgrown Tally and Excel: sales, purchase, stock, production and accounts in one system. We set up GST and write custom modules for the steps that make your business different.
04 Salesforce or LeadSquared If your sales team already works in Salesforce or LeadSquared, we connect it to your accounts, website and WhatsApp instead of asking you to switch.
05 Custom modules Where no setting or app does the job, we build the missing piece as a module inside the software, not as a separate system your team has to learn. The core stays untouched, so updates from the vendor still install.

Not sure it is the right fit? Ask an engineer first.

Thirty minutes with a senior engineer, free and with no obligation. Bring the problem, not a brief.

Off-the-shelf first. Custom only where it pays.

Most businesses do not need an ERP written from scratch. Tally, Zoho, Odoo and ERPNext already handle accounts, GST, stock and sales well, and they cost less to run and maintain than custom software. So we fix and connect what you have before we suggest replacing it, and recommend the product that fits. Then we build only what it cannot do: the connector, the dealer portal, the report the owner asks for every Monday. Licences are bought in your name and paid by you directly. If your process really does need its own system, we tell you why first.

Deliverables

What we connect it to.

01 Website and store orders Orders from Shopify, WooCommerce or your own website created in Tally, Zoho Books or your ERP as invoices or sales vouchers. The customer, items, GST and stock update with them, and stock levels go back to the store.
02 WhatsApp updates and leads Order confirmations, invoices, payment reminders and dispatch updates sent from your ERP or CRM through the WhatsApp Business Platform, and new WhatsApp enquiries logged in the CRM as leads.
03 Payment gateways Razorpay, Cashfree and PayU payment links created from an invoice, and payments and settlements matched back to the right invoice in your accounts, so nobody matches them by hand at month end.
04 GST e-invoicing (IRN and QR) B2B invoices, credit notes and debit notes sent from your software to the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP), with the IRN and signed QR code printed on the invoice. E-invoicing is mandatory once aggregate turnover has crossed ₹5 crore in any year since 2017-18 (CBIC, since 1 August 2023). At ₹10 crore and above, the IRP rejects documents reported more than 30 days after their date (GSTN advisory of November 2024, applied from 1 April 2025).
05 E-way bills E-way bills generated from the same invoice or delivery challan, with transporter and vehicle details taken from your dispatch records, instead of typed again on the portal.
06 Data out of spreadsheets Customer, supplier and item lists, GSTINs, HSN codes, price lists, opening balances and stock moved out of Excel, paper registers and old software. Everything is cleaned, de-duplicated and checked with your accounts team before go-live.
07 Dealer and distributor portals A portal or app where dealers place orders, see their own price list and stock, download invoices and check their ledger and outstanding balance, all drawn from your ERP or Tally.

One set of numbers for the whole business.

Once orders, invoices and stock sit in one place, the owner stops waiting for someone to build a report in Excel. We add dashboards for sales, collections, outstanding payments and stock, by branch, product or salesperson, readable on a phone and refreshed from Tally or your ERP. Alerts on WhatsApp or email flag an overdue invoice or an item running low. Our Data and Dashboards service goes further, with forecasts and data from marketplaces and ads.

How a project runs.

01
Discovery
Map how you work today.
We talk to the people who take orders, raise invoices and count stock, and write down how work moves today: every sheet, register, WhatsApp group and app.
02
Decision
Choose what to keep.
We fix and connect what you already have before suggesting anything new. If Tally and a good connector will do, we say so. If you have outgrown them, we compare Zoho, Odoo and ERPNext on fit, licence cost and who will run it.
03
Build
Configure and extend.
Settings, GST details, approval rules, custom fields and any custom modules, built on a test copy first and shown to you in a demo every week.
04
Go-live
Migrate and check.
Your data cleaned and moved in trial runs until balances, outstanding amounts and stock match your books, then switched over at a quiet time, such as after a month-end close.
05
Handover
Train your team.
Short, hands-on sessions on video calls for each team, built on their own daily tasks, with written guides and screenshots they can keep.
06
Afterwards
Support as you grow.
Help when something stops syncing, changes when Tally, Zoho or the GST portals update, and new reports as you grow, under a support and AMC (annual maintenance contract) plan.

For manufacturers, traders and distributors.

Much of this work is for businesses that make or move goods. Think of a factory tracking raw material and job work, a trader billing hundreds of dealers or a distributor shipping across states with e-way bills. We set up batch and serial tracking, several godowns, dealer price lists and schemes, and the GST paperwork that goes with each dispatch.

Frequently asked questions.

Tally or Zoho or Odoo: which should we use?

It depends on your size, your process and who will run it. Tally Prime suits businesses whose CA and accounts team already know it. Zoho suits teams that want cloud apps for accounts, sales and stock. Odoo and ERPNext suit manufacturers and traders who need everything in one system. We recommend one after the free systems review.

Do we have to stop using Tally?

Usually not. Many businesses keep Tally Prime for accounts and GST, because their CA and staff know it, and add a CRM, a store connector or a dealer portal around it. We suggest a full ERP only when stock, production or several branches have clearly outgrown what Tally and Excel can manage.

Can you connect Tally to our website or online store?

Yes. A small connector uses Tally Prime's built-in XML interface to create customers, stock items and sales vouchers from your store orders. It also sends stock levels back to Shopify, WooCommerce or your own website. Tally needs to run on a computer or server the connector can reach, and we set that up with you.

Can you set up GST e-invoicing from our software?

Yes. Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Odoo and ERPNext can all generate e-invoices, and we set that up and test it with you. For custom billing software, we connect it to the Invoice Registration Portal directly or through a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP). Whether e-invoicing applies to your business is a question for your CA.

Will we lose our old data?

We plan the move so that you do not. Everything is copied before we start, then cleaned, matched and loaded in trial runs until balances, outstanding amounts and stock agree with your current books. Your old files stay readable for reference, and earlier years can stay in Tally if your CA prefers.

How is it priced?

With a fixed, itemised quote in rupees after a short discovery, with any GST shown separately, paid in milestones. Software licences, such as Tally Prime, Zoho or Odoo subscriptions, are bought in your name and paid for by you directly, so the accounts stay yours. Ongoing support is quoted separately, month to month.
