Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 15 October 2026
This policy sets out what you may not do on our website, or with the websites, apps, systems and AI features we build or host for you. It keeps people, data and systems safe. It applies alongside our Terms of Service, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and, where they apply, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (the "Intermediary Rules").
Please do not
- break any Indian law, or use our site or services to infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, trade marks and privacy;
- try to get into, probe, scan or test the security of our systems, or of any system we build or host, unless we have agreed to it in writing. Unauthorised access is an offence under the IT Act;
- upload or send viruses or other harmful code, overload our systems, or disrupt the service for anyone else;
- scrape or bulk-copy content or personal data from the site. Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read our public pages to index them and answer questions;
- send promotional SMS or calls through anything we build or run for you without the person's consent and the DLT registration that the TRAI rules on commercial communications require, or send spam on WhatsApp, email or any other channel;
- pretend to be someone else, or misstate who you work for, including in Co-Founder Programme applications;
- host, publish or share content that is obscene, harmful to children, defamatory, hateful, a threat to the unity, integrity or security of India or to public order, linked to illegal gambling or money laundering, or knowingly false and misleading;
- use what we build, including AI features, to deceive or harm people, for example through fraud, phishing, harassment, impersonation or deepfakes, or to make serious decisions about people with no human review;
- pass off AI-generated audio, images or video as real. Where the Intermediary Rules require it, label such content clearly and keep its labels and metadata in place.
Systems we build or host for clients
Where we run a system for a client, the client is responsible for making sure its own users follow this policy and the law. The client also confirms that it has the right to all the data it asks us to process. If a client's product lets users post or share content, the client is the intermediary under the IT Act. The client must then follow the Intermediary Rules, for example by publishing rules for its users, naming a Grievance Officer and acting on lawful takedown orders within the time limits. We can build these features, but the legal duty stays with the client.
Reporting a problem
If you find a security weakness or see our services being misused, please tell us through the contact form. You can also call us on +91 99966 88404. Give us a reasonable chance to fix it before you tell anyone else, and do not access more data than you need to show us the problem.
What happens if the rules are broken
If this policy is seriously broken, we may suspend access, remove content or end the engagement. We will cooperate with CERT-In, the police and other authorities where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will give notice and a chance to put things right first.
