NGO websites and donation platforms in India: Every rupee raised online should reach the cause.

Correct donor records protect your tax registration. Foreign money needs its own trail under the FCRA. Donor data needs consent under the DPDP Act. We build donation pages, donor systems and reports that follow these rules and save your small team time.

The sector

NGOs and non-profits, in numbers.

Indian non-profits raise money from individuals, companies and, with FCRA registration, from abroad, and each source has its own reporting rules.

14,449
active FCRA certificates on 15 July 2026, against 22,498 cancelled and 15,212 expired (FCRA portal figures, PRS Legislative Research).
₹55,741 crore
of foreign contribution received by 13,520 organisations between 2019 and 2022 (Ministry of Home Affairs, cited by PRS Legislative Research).
What the rules ask of you

The rules shaping your software.

The regulations and standards that change what your systems, website and data handling need to do, each with its date and a link to the source.

01 Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 2010 as amended in 2020 Foreign donations must arrive only in your FCRA account at the State Bank of India branch in New Delhi that the government notifies. You cannot pass foreign money on to another organisation, and no more than 20 per cent of it may go on administrative costs. Registration lasts five years and must be renewed. Source
02 FCRA 2.0 portal since 30 June 2026 Applications, renewals and annual returns are now fully online, with Aadhaar-based authentication and e-Sign. The portal links to PAN, Aadhaar, NGO Darpan and ICAI's UDIN document check, so keep your records consistent across them. A further FCRA amendment bill has been with a Joint Parliamentary Committee since August 2026 and is not yet law. Source
03 Income-tax Act, 2025: donation forms from 1 April 2026 The new Act replaced the 1961 Act. Registration of non-profits now sits under section 332, and approval for donor deductions, the old 80G, under section 354. Form 10BD became Form 113, the yearly statement of donations, and Form 10BE became Form 114, the certificate donors use. Source
04 CSR under the Companies Act 2013 section 135 Companies above set size limits must spend 2 per cent of their average net profit of the last three years on CSR. Money for an ongoing project that is not spent goes to an Unspent CSR Account and must be used within three years. So companies need clear project and spending reports from the NGOs they fund. Source
05 DPDP Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025 main duties from May 2027 Donor and beneficiary data is personal data. You will need a clear notice for each purpose, such as receipts or appeals, and withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it. A child's data needs a parent's verifiable consent. Penalties go up to ₹250 crore. Source
What we build

What we build for non-profits, trusts and societies.

01 Donation pages Fast UPI, card and net banking giving through gateways such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU. Monthly giving through UPI AutoPay or e-NACH, and PAN capture for donors who want a tax certificate.
02 Donor records ready for Form 113 A donor CRM that stores PAN, address, amount, date and payment mode for every gift, with exports your CA can check before filing.
03 Foreign donations kept apart Separate flows and reports for FCRA money, so foreign and local donations never mix in your records or your bank reconciliation.
04 CSR reporting Project dashboards, photo and location evidence, and spending reports that your CSR partners can review online.

Not sure where to start? Talk it through with an engineer.

Thirty minutes with a senior engineer, free and with no obligation. Bring the problem, not a brief.

What we will not claim.

We do not make you FCRA, Income-tax or DPDP compliant, and we do not file returns for you. Your trustees, board and CA stay responsible. We build giving, donor and reporting systems that follow the rules and keep a clear record of every rupee and every consent.

NGOs and non-profits questions

Frequently asked questions.

Can you build a donation page that takes UPI?

Yes. We build donation pages with UPI, cards and net banking through gateways such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU, plus monthly giving through UPI AutoPay. Each gift is recorded with the details your receipts and Form 113 statement need. Foreign donations get their own route, as the FCRA requires.

What changed for donation receipts in 2026?

The Income-tax Act, 2025 replaced the 1961 Act from 1 April 2026. Form 10BD is now Form 113, the yearly statement of donations, and Form 10BE is now Form 114, the certificate donors use. The donor details you collect stay much the same. Check filing dates and wording with your CA.

Do you work with small NGOs?

Yes. Many of the most useful changes are small: a faster donation page, a clean donor list or one automated report for a CSR partner. You get a fixed, itemised quote in rupees before any work starts, with GST shown separately, so you know the cost before you commit.

How do you handle donor data?

We collect only what each purpose needs and show a clear consent notice. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, as the DPDP Act requires. Data can be hosted in Indian cloud regions, with access limited by role. Every provider is named in a Data Processing Addendum you sign before work starts.
