Software for law firms and CA firms in India: Your time is for clients. Let the admin run itself.

Advocates may not advertise, and CA firms must follow ICAI's website rules. Client files need care under the DPDP Act, and GST work runs on tight portal deadlines. We build websites, client portals, document tools and AI assistants that respect these limits and give your team hours back.

01 Bar Council of India Rule 36 website proviso since 2008 Advocates may not advertise or solicit work, directly or indirectly. A website may show only set details. These are name, address, phone, email, enrolment number and date, State Bar Council, Bar Association, qualifications and areas of practice. In July 2026 the Supreme Court sought responses on a petition against lawyers promoting themselves through reels and videos. Source
02 ICAI Code of Ethics, 13th edition from 1 April 2026 ICAI relaxed its advertisement and website rules. Members and firms may now use push communication for services that are not exclusive to CAs, such as accounting or consultancy. Network firms registered with ICAI may run their own websites. Your content should still follow ICAI's current advertisement and website guidelines. Source
03 DPDP Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025 main duties from May 2027 Personal data in client files is covered. Where you rely on consent, you need clear notices. You also need reasonable security safeguards. A breach must be reported to the people affected and the Data Protection Board. Penalties go up to ₹250 crore. Source
04 GST e-invoicing 30-day limit since April 2025 Businesses whose turnover crossed ₹5 crore in any year since FY 2017-18 must issue e-invoices. Each B2B invoice needs an IRN, an invoice reference number, from the Invoice Registration Portal. Since 1 April 2025, those with turnover of ₹10 crore or more cannot report an e-invoice more than 30 days old. Source
05 eSign under the IT Act 2000 eSign is an online electronic signature service under the IT Act, offered through eSign service providers listed by the Controller of Certifying Authorities. It plugs into a portal through an API, so clients can sign engagement letters and authorisations without printing anything. Source

03 Tally and Zoho integrations Data pulls from Tally Prime and Zoho Books, GST reconciliation reports and e-invoice checks that flag invoices close to the 30-day limit.
04 AI drafting with confidentiality Assistants that draft letters, summarise judgments and notices, and answer from your own precedents, with client data kept out of public AI tools.

What we will not claim.

We do not make a website Rule 36 or ICAI compliant, and we do not give legal or tax advice. The Bar Council, ICAI and your own partners decide what you may publish. We build what the rules permit, keep a record of what was published and when, and leave every content decision with you.

Law firms and CA firms questions

Frequently asked questions.

Can a law firm in India have a website?

Yes, within limits. Bar Council of India Rule 36 bars advertising and soliciting work. A 2008 proviso allows a website with set details: name, contact details, enrolment, Bar Council, Bar Association, qualifications and areas of practice. We build sites that stay within that list. Your partners approve the final content.

What can a CA firm put on its website?

More than before. ICAI's revised Code of Ethics came into force on 1 April 2026. It relaxed the advertisement and website rules, including push communication for services not exclusive to CAs. Some limits remain, so we check content against ICAI's current guidelines. Your partners approve the final text before anything goes live.

Can you connect our practice software to Tally and Zoho?

Yes. We pull ledgers, invoices and GST data from Tally Prime and Zoho Books into one place, then build reconciliation reports, reminders and client dashboards. For clients with turnover of ₹10 crore or more, we can flag e-invoices close to the 30-day reporting limit, so fewer get rejected at the portal.

Is it safe to use AI with client files?

It can be, with the right set-up. Use AI providers whose business terms rule out training on your data. Limit access by matter or client, and keep a person reviewing anything sent to a client. We name every AI provider in the Data Processing Addendum. Your duty of confidentiality stays with your firm.
